Introduction to Free Motion Embroidery

Service Description

Join Adele for a workshop on free-motion embroidery using sewing machines to create your own textile art. You will learn how to • Set up a machine with a free motion foot • Draw with a sewing machine including tips and techniques • Create textile art • Add applique fabric parts • Colour in areas and add textures and details Sewing machines and fabrics will all be provided but feel free to bring your own ideas and materials if you wish. If you’d like to bring your own machine please let me know when you book. You'll start with simple stitched lines and progress to creating appliqué pictures. At the end you'll have a unique piece of artwork and new confidence and skills. Tickets include a complimentary drink and biscuits and are held at Compton Dando near Bath/Bristol This workshop will run 7-9:30pm A 2.5 hours workshop coast £150 for up to 6 people. £175 for 7 people. This workshop can also take place at a location of your choosing, please message me to discuss. It can be themed and a great idea for birthday or group gatherings.
