Service Description

Join Adele for a weekly class on free-motion embroidery using sewing machines to create your own textile art. Each week there will be a different theme, technique or starting point to inspire you or you are able to complete your own projects if you wish. You will learn how to • Set up a machine with a free motion foot • Draw with a sewing machine including tips and techniques • Create textile art and items such as cushions and bags • Add applique fabric parts • Colour in areas and add textures and details I have 7 Sewing machines to available to use and fabrics will all be provided, feel free to bring your own ideas and materials if you wish. If you’d like to bring your own machine please let me know when you book. You'll start with simple stitched lines and progress to independently creating appliqué pictures and projects including cushions or bags. This will be a relaxed welcoming friendly group and all abilities are welcomed. Drinks and cake/biscuits will be provided. Held in a studio space in Compton Dando with parking onsite near Bath/Bristol. Friday mornings 10am-12:30pm
