Festive Free Motion Afternoon Workshop

Join me for a festive workshop on free-motion embroidery using sewing machines to create your own Christmas decorations and cards. You will learn how to • Set up a machine with a free motion foot • Draw with a sewing machine including tips and techniques • Stitch cursive writing • Add applique fabric parts • Colour in areas and add textures and details Sewing machines and fabrics will all be provided but feel free to bring your own ideas and materials if you wish. If you’d like to bring your own machine please let me know when you book. You'll start with simple stitched lines and progress to creating appliqué decorations and cards with new confidence and skills. Whether you fancy a sprig of holly, a polar bear, a little robin or an angel there will be lots of inspiration to choose from or an opportunity for you to bring your own ideas if you wish. Tickets include a complimentary drink and are held at Flourish Farm shop and cafe in Saltford, near Bath. This afternoon workshop will run 1:30pm - 4:00pm
